5 Recommended Resources for Children

5 Recommended Resources for Children
1 Min Read

The importance of passing down the faith to the next generation is seen throughout sacred Scripture. God commands it in the old covenant (Deut. 6:7), reinforces it in the Psalms (Ps. 145:4), and reiterates it in the new covenant (Eph. 6:4). Such discipleship takes place formally and informally, in word and by example, corporately and individually. The following resources curated by the Ligonier editorial team can help Christians as they seek to nurture children in the faith.

The Priest with Dirty Clothes by R.C. Sproul

This beloved children’s book by R.C. Sproul teaches children about the concept of imputation by telling the story of a young priest who is invited to preach his first sermon before the king and his court, but he falls from his horse and becomes hopelessly muddy, needing powerful help if he is to stand before the king.
