The death of Jesus Christ is of central importance to the Christian faith. But why did He need to die? What happened on the cross? In this message, Dr. R.C. After exploring the biblical concepts of God’s blessing and curse, Dr. Sproul explains that Jesus delivered His people from the curse of God’s wrath by becoming a curse in their place (Gal. 3:13). Because Christ endured the curse on behalf of His people, everyone who comes to Him in faith may be forever blessed.
