Fortunately, we don't have to reinvent the wheel in this debate. The great fifth-century theologian, Augustine, already dealt with this argument against Pelagius. Did Augustine teach that we lost our ability to choose? Was our free will lost in the Fall? In this message entitled "The Loss of Liberty," Dr. Sproul teaches us the Augustinian view of free will as it is reflected in Reformed theology today.
