What advice would you give to a young Christian?

1 Min Read

Preach the gospel to yourself every day.

There are opportunities to serve the Lord that only come at certain times in one’s life. The youth sometimes have a lot of zeal but no knowledge. The trick is not to pour water on the fire and put it out but steer them in the right direction. I consistently see young people in their early twenties who, having just graduated from high school and college, want to give themselves to ministry. That is really encouraging.

Live out and out for Christ. Too many youths follow the pattern of sowing some wild oats and then coming back to Jesus in their mid-twenties when they’re ready to settle down. However, you do not know how long a life you will have, so you should give your life to the Lord and live it to the full.
