God has established strong foundations for His people in His Word, which gives us the doctrine that enables us to trust in the Lord’s wisdom and strength. Although these foundations cannot ultimately be destroyed, they can be shaken in the church through doctrinal compromise, attempts to have a “seat at the table” for cultural influence, and simple neglect of the truth.
