Stand Firm: 2017 Regional Conference
The most urgent need today is for people to be awakened to their need of the gospel. Although many reject Christ, the Bible gives sound reasons for believing the Christian faith. This session will focus on 1 Peter 3:8-18 to explain what it means to defend the faith with gentleness and respect, noting especially the role of prayer in evangelism.

He is president emeritus and professor emeritus of church history at Westminster Seminary California. He is featured teacher for many Ligonier teaching series, including Not Ashamed: Paul’s Letter to the Romans. He is author of many books, including Saving the Reformation, Learning to Love the Psalms, and John Calvin: Pilgrim and Pastor.
