Charles Spurgeon

Rev. Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834–1892) was an English Particular Baptist preacher, pastor of the congregation of the New Park Street Chapel (later the Metropolitan Tabernacle), founder of Almshouse and the Stockwell Orphanage, and founder of Spurgeon’s College, which was named after him posthumously. He is author of over two thousand published sermons and numerous books.
