Henry Chadwick

Rev. Henry Chadwick (1920–2008) was Regius Professor of Divinity at the University of Oxford and Canon of Christ Church Cathedral in Oxford. He held honorary doctorates from Uppsala, Harvard, Yale and Chicago universities and Rhineland and Göttingen academies. He is author of several works, including The Early Church.
