The Next 500 Years: 2017 National Conference
The commitment of the Reformers' to catechesis, formal education, developing Christian literature, and church planting as faithful methods of discipleship created a cultural infrastructure for biblical teaching to be passed down from one generation to the next. This session discusses how the biblical call to discipleship includes carefully developing and leveraging resources for the church in the West and abroad in order to proclaim the holiness of God in all its fullness to as many people as possible both now and in the future.

Stephen Nichols
Dr. Stephen J. Nichols is president of Reformation Bible College, chief academic officer for Ligonier Ministries, and a Ligonier Ministries teaching fellow. He is host of the podcasts 5 Minutes in Church History and Open Book. He has written more than twenty books, including Peace, A Time for Confidence, and R.C. Sproul: A Life and volumes in the Guided Tour series on Jonathan Edwards, Martin Luther, and J. Gresham Machen. He is coeditor of The Legacy of Luther and general editor of the Church History Study Bible.
