Pillars of Christian Orthodoxy. Ours is an era of historical ignorance and disrespect, relativistic "truth," and shallow faith. Over and against this, we stand as a countercultural movement of believers committed to training this generation in the historic Christian faith. The three pillars on which Ligonier Academy of Biblical and Theological studies is founded:

Stephen Nichols
Dr. Stephen J. Nichols is president of Reformation Bible College, chief academic officer for Ligonier Ministries, and a Ligonier Ministries teaching fellow. He is featured teacher for several Ligonier teaching series, including Christianity and Liberalism. He is author of many books, including Bible Basics, R.C. Sproul: A Life, and 5 Minutes in Church History. Dr. Nichols is host of the podcasts 5 Minutes in Church History and Open Book.
