The Invisible Hand: 2004 Seattle Conference
Whenever there is large scale disaster, inevitably there are religious leaders trying to provide comfort to people by assuring them that God was not involved in the disaster. But it is imperative that we rightly understand who God really is, how He relates to the world He created, and how He relates to His people. To understand God’s providence we must understand God’s sovereignty. From there we can see hope from amid our suffering. In this message, Dr. Derek Thomas expounds on this as he explores the workings and mysteries of the providence of God in the book of Job.
