Stand Firm: 2023 National Conference

A questions and answers session with W. Robert Godfrey, Stephen Nichols, Burk Parsons, and Harry Reeder.
Questions:
- If the Lord does not tempt us, can you explain the phrase in the Lord’s Prayer, “Lead me not into temptation?” (0:41)
- How do you know the difference between being convicted by the Holy Spirit or being accused by Satan? (5:34)
- If one goes through periods of doubt, not only in their salvation due to sin, but also doubt in the whole idea of God, what should they do? Can they consider themselves truly saved? (15:12)
- If God is the one who elects, then what is the responsibility of man? (24:17)
- If your HR department demands you take training that is clearly against biblical teaching, is it okay to answer questions based off of, “what you know they want to hear?”, in order to avoid being flagged for sensitivity training or losing your job? (37:02)
Note: Answers given reflect the views of the individual speakers and do not necessarily reflect the views of Dr. R.C. Sproul and Ligonier Ministries. Here is our Statement of Faith.
