At one time, Christians, particularly Reformed Christians, were the intellectual leaders in America, but this is no longer the case. We are largely marginalized and have abdicated intellectual leadership to secularists. In this message, Dr. W. Robert Godfrey examines the role that anti-intellectualism played in this self-inflicted problem and what we must do to turn it around.

Dr. W. Robert Godfrey is a Ligonier Ministries teaching fellow and chairman of Ligonier Ministries. He is president emeritus and professor emeritus of church history at Westminster Seminary California. He is featured teacher for many Ligonier teaching series, including Not Ashamed: Paul’s Letter to the Romans. He is author of many books, including Saving the Reformation, Learning to Love the Psalms, and John Calvin: Pilgrim and Pastor.
