Cultivating Assurance

Westminster Confession of Faith 18.3 deals with the nature and cultivation of assurance. In looking at this topic, Dr. Beeke explains five elements of assurance: the relationship of faith and assurance, the time involved in attaining assurance, the means to attain assurance, the duty of pursuing assurance, and the fruits produced by assurance. We will also look closely at four spiritual disciplines that cultivate assurance.
