Why Do Christians Die?

If death is the penalty for sin, and Jesus died to pay that penalty for us as Christians, then why do we still die? This is a valid question, and considering that death is a fearful thing, it is also an important one. What must we keep in mind in asking this question? In this lesson, Dr. Waters helps us see that although Christians experience death, there is comfort in Christ’s transformation of death for believers such that death, as strange as it may sound, is an expression of God’s love for us because of what it brings us into.
