Could it be that some of the events in the Old Testament are incompatible with the God of the New Testament? In the New Testament, we read of God's attributes like mercy, grace, and love being perfectly exhibited in the life of his only-begotten Son. However, many people today have a hard time accepting sections of the Old Testament due to its striking exhibition of God's holiness and justice.
