The Inadequacy of Profession

In this message, Dr. Sproul spends time to list a few of the factors which may contribute to a false sense of security. One of the chief factors he feels is very important for evangelicals to understand, is that salvation is not guaranteed merely by a profession of faith. While acknowledging the importance of a public profession of faith and a regular attending-membership at a local church, our hope of salvation is not to rest upon these things, but upon Christ alone.
