When we take a pledge we are expected to keep it because there are others who are expecting and planning on us to follow through. But are we to keep our promises unconditionally? Is there ever a situation when we must break a vow? Should we ever break a promise? Is there ever a time when even God expects us not to keep our vow? Answering these questions in this message, Dr. Sproul explains what conditions make a vow lawful, and when we ought not to keep one.
