Our view of the Bible can influence every other aspect of our lives. When we view Scripture as irrelevant or as one voice among many, its influence over our lives will be limited. On the other hand, when we recognize God’s Word as our final authority, it constantly reforms us. In this lecture, Dr. Reeves will examine the different views of scriptural authority that emerged during the Reformation and will discuss how this issue continues to separate Roman Catholics and Protestants.
