A common belief among people is that God will judge us according to our works, and only those who commit the really big sins—like murder—will ever be condemned. But they forget about the great commandment. Have you loved God with all of your heart, soul, and strength? Is God's Word always before you as you lie down, rise up, and walk by the way? After careful examination, we realize that none of us has ever fulfilled the great commandment. Thinking of this in this message, Dr. Sproul teaches us the deep meaning of the Shema found in the sixth chapter of Deuteronomy.
