Themes from James
James 2:24 explicitly says that a person is saved by works and not by faith alone. But this seems to be teaching the exact opposite of what the early Reformers taught as they rigorously debated the Roman Catholic Church in the sixteenth century. So which is it? Are we saved by our works or by faith alone? Continuing this series on Themes from James, Dr. Sproul explains the harmony James 2:24 really has with the rest of Scripture, as he discusses "Faith and Works."
