The Person and Work of Christ (Part 2)

The Apostles' Creed is a universally accepted symbol of orthodoxy in the church since the earliest centuries. By it, a Christian can confess his or her belief in the Triune God, the one true church, the forgiveness of sins and the hope of life ever after. So what does a pagan Roman ruler have to do with all of that? Why does the man who authorized the crucifixion of the son of God get his name written in a Christian creed? In this message, Dr. Sproul explains not only the historical reason, but the theological reason Pontius Pilate's name was included in the creed.
