The Holiness of God: 2009 National Conference

Grace is a word that we hear again and again in our lives. Anyone who is affiliated with a church, whether orthodox, apostate, or even the cults, will tell you that you are saved by grace. But what exactly do people mean when they say “grace”? What is the biblical concept of grace and how does it work itself out in our lives? Which notion of grace are you operating under? The sixteenth century church rediscovered the biblical concept of grace, and perhaps nobody was able to articulate it better than John Calvin. In this message, Dr. Sinclair Ferguson explains John Calvin’s essential role in church history as a preacher and teacher of the biblical doctrine of grace.
