The Bible

After establishing the validity of doctrine and the importance of knowing who God is so that we can know who we are, J. Gresham Machen moves to defend the Bible against the modernist tendencies of liberal theologians. This is essential because Christianity is a message, and that message is contained in the Bible. In this lesson, Dr. Nichols stresses the relevance of defending the authority of Scripture in our own day and examines Machen’s ever-applicable answers as to why the Bible is our certain source of truth.
