Salvation

The doctrine of salvation was something that liberal theologians were getting wrong, and they were corrupting the church with their teaching. Because J. Gresham Machen’s Christianity and Liberalism is in many ways a defense of the gospel, the book builds up to its chapter on salvation. In this lesson, Dr. Nichols corrects the works-based understanding of salvation with the biblical understanding of salvation, that we are justified by faith alone in Christ alone.
