Early Republic

What happened to the church in America and to American culture on the heels of the First Great Awakening? We saw tremendous revival occur between 1739 and 1745, but unfortunately, it did not last. What contributed to this decline? In this lesson, Dr. Nichols explains the distractions and beliefs that took root during the 1700s and 1800s that created a mindset that shifted away from God, the Bible, and the church.
