As we saw in the previous lesson, there were several branches of fundamentalism. Each branch had their own emphasis and influence as they stood against liberalism. In this lesson, Dr. Nichols focuses our attention on the revivalist fundamentalists and the confessional fundamentalists as he explains their faithfulness to the true gospel and the fundamental doctrines of the Christian faith. J. Gresham Machen, a primary figure among the confessional fundamentalists, created a lasting legacy of faith.
