Evangelicalism, Part 1

Throughout American church history, we have seen an emphasis on doctrine and denominations. Following fundamentalism, the church moves away from denominations to focus more on individual conversion experience as well as the personal study and application of the Bible apart from confessions and creeds. In this lesson, Dr. Nichols sets the stage and explains the key figures and the foundational emphases of the rise of evangelicalism.
