Throughout Paul’s life and ministry, he faced much hardship and persecution. In the midst of his sufferings, we have some of the richest letters written to the church and to individuals within the church. Second Timothy is one such letter. Through this letter, we gain a heartfelt and personal glimpse into Paul. In this lesson, Dr. Thomas sets the stage and explains key elements of Paul’s final imprisonment and the things for which he longed during his last days.
