God’s Reassurance through John the Baptist

What image comes to mind when you think of John the Baptist? Perhaps you envision a kind of wild man who lived in the wilderness, ate strange food, and wore uncomfortable clothes. You may immediately think that John was a man who proclaimed the coming Messiah and preached repentance to the people of Israel, but you may not have thought of him as a man who faltered in his faith. In this lesson, Dr. Thomas explains John the Baptist’s courageous preaching, his loss of faith, and his death, using Mark 6 and Luke 7.
