The covenant of redemption is the eternal covenant made by and between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to create and save a people. Some have dismissed the idea of such a covenant as an attempt to divine the mind of God. But this doctrine is biblically sound and necessary. He is author of many books, including Word, Water, and Spirit: A Reformed Perspective on Baptism, The Need for Creeds Today, and Justification.
