Identifying how one grows in the fear of God is of utmost importance, but unfortunately, many people emphasize the wrong things as markers for growth. By focusing on external behaviors rather than the state of the heart, a person will never experience the true fear of God. In this lesson, Dr. Reeves explains how the fear of God is not a set of behaviors but is a matter of the heart. He then shows how Scripture shapes one’s heart and leads a person into the fear of God.
