acts 19:21–41

When the Apostle Paul’s preaching in Ephesus challenged the worship of false gods, a riot erupted. Led by the silversmith Demetrius, this uproar was fueled by those whose livelihoods depended on selling idols. In this sermon, R.C. Sproul explains how the gospel disrupts not only our personal beliefs but entire cultures, reminding us that God’s truth will always confront the idols of this world.

This sermon is from the Lord’s Day pulpit ministry of R.C. Sproul at Saint Andrew’s Chapel near Orlando, Florida.
