The Sinless Son

There was never a moment when Jesus failed to do what we have never succeeded in doing: love God with all the heart, soul, mind, and strength. Today, R.C. Sproul marvels at the sinless Son whose perfect obedience gives us access to the Father.

Do you realize what it means for a human being to be sinless? It means you never break any dimension of the law of God. And if Jesus was sinless, that means that every waking moment of His existence He loved the Father with all of His heart and with all of His soul and with all of His strength. Here appeared in history a human being in His human nature who loved God perfectly. When God said, “Hear, O Israel,” Israel’s Son, God’s Son listened and loved God with all of His heart and all of His soul and all of His strength.
