The Indwelling Power of Love

When the Holy Spirit indwells a believer, He does not move in empty-handed—he brings something else with him. "So what is it?" you might ask. Whatever it is, he brought it because we didn’t have it. It reflects God's character, and it should be displayed in our lives to the abundance of God’s glory. It is fruit, or the fruit of the Spirit as it is known in Galatians chapter five—Love, joy, peace, and longsuffering to name a few. Here Dr. Sproul takes a look at the fruit of the Spirit as they are listed.
