The Virgin Mary
A distinctive feature of the Roman Catholic Church is the veneration of Mary, the mother of Jesus. Any baptized and confirmed Roman Catholic parishioner has recited the Hail Mary. Is there anything in the content of the Hail Mary that Protestants can agree with? What is it about that prayer that Protestants so strongly object to? In this message, Dr. Sproul considers these questions as he helps us to understand the official teachings of Rome concerning Mary.
