Why do you believe the Bible is the Word of God? Is the inward testimony of the Holy Spirit alone enough to convince you? Since the Holy Spirit is the one who changes the hearts of people, maybe He just tells people directly with no corroborating evidence that the Bible is the Word of God. Maybe He is giving individuals in the church special divine knowledge that need not be tested against anything including Scripture itself. Then again, maybe not.
