I Will Build My Church: 2025 National Conference

A questions and answers session with Sinclair Ferguson, Joel Kim, Augustus Nicodemus Lopes, Michael Reeves, and Derek Thomas.
Questions:
- How can we cultivate deeper theological understanding in our churches without creating intellectual elitism or pride? (0:14)
- On what basis does God love us? How can we understand His love, since we were dead in sin and possess no attractive nor redeeming qualities in His sight? (4:14)
- It seems as if there are thousands of denominations today. But looking at church history, it seems there was only one church. Is it wrong to have so many denominations? Why are there so many? (12:03)
- In Acts 2:38–39, Peter outlines what one must do for salvation. He concluded with “the promise is for you and your children.” Was Peter speaking to just those people at that time or to all believers and our children? (25:54)
- How are the old and new covenants different? (27:54)
- How can a Christian develop a better relationship with each member of the triune Godhead? (33:44)
- What would you say to a professing Christian who doesn’t have a church home and has fallen out of the habit of church attendance? (39:06)
