I Will Build My Church: 2025 National Conference

A questions and answers session with W. Robert Godfrey, Darrell Harrison, Ken Jones, and Stephen Nichols.
Questions:
- Why is church membership important? Is it merely a tradition, or is there a biblical and theological basis for formal commitment to a local body? (0:46)
- When Job says, “I know that my Redeemer lives,” what are the people in his day looking forward to in the afterlife? Do they have an idea of heaven? (3:14)
- The Apostle’s Creed includes the phrase: “He descended into hell.” Yet other creeds do not include this phrase. Do you believe Christ descended into hell? (7:00)
- Can you share a definition of revival? Should we pray for revival in our churches and our nation? (13:36)
- Teachers divide the law into civil, ceremonial, and moral, yet Jesus said to practice all the law. Why do Christians not follow all aspects of the law? (29:22)
- Can you explain the different wills of God? (31:14)
- Why does God seem far off at times, especially in seasons of doubt and dryness? Is this part of His sanctifying work, or is it the result of our sin? (35:28)
