It's Not as it Seems

All of us experience feelings of despair from time to time. We often feel that things are, not only not going our way, but instead, that they are against us. Accompanying those feelings are feelings of being forgotten by God. Jacob felt that way when his sons returned from Egypt with the news that Simeon was being held ransom until Jacob's youngest son, Benjamin, was brought back to Egypt. What can we learn from Jacob's darkest hour? Continuing this series on The Life of Joseph, Dr. Sproul shows us that not all things are as they seem when we understand God's providential working in our lives.
