The Meeting

The great Jonathan Edwards wrote a sermon entitled "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God." In that sermon he demonstrated that unrepentant sinners have nothing to look forward to other than the unmitigated wrath of an angry God. But what about God's children? What can we expect? With this thought in mind, Dr. Sproul directs our attention to the occasion when Joseph met with his brothers in Egypt, and gives us a glimpse of God's corrective anger.
