God's word tells us that we are to live by faith, not by sight. But our responses to life's trials are often riddled with sin when we distrust the goodness of God's Providence. Here Dr. Sproul will look into the life of Gideon, that "mighty man of valor" who had trouble believing God's goodness. Relying on what he saw, he doubted God's providence, and the victory that awaited him. As you shall see in this lecture, the Providence of God is never thwarted by men's disbelief.
