Abraham and Isaac

God plays for keeps. Throughout Scripture, we see that God calls His people to total surrender before His good and perfect will. At times, the Lord calls His people to do things at great personal cost. In this lesson, Dr. Sproul considers the story of God’s call for Abraham to sacrifice Isaac. Amid the perplexing and agonizing circumstances, we see that God remains faithful to Abraham. Despite the suffering that we may endure, this story reminds us of the great reality that our God does not withhold any good for the sake of His people.
