Jacob's Ladder

The Bible tells us that God is transcendent above all creation. In our present age, many suggest that if there is a god, he is unknowable and unapproachable. Similarly, the patriarch Jacob for most of his life did not have a personal experience of God. Yet in Genesis 28, Jacob receives a vision of a ladder connecting earth to heaven. In this lesson, Dr. Sproul helps us consider the significance of what Jacob sees and its ultimate fulfillment in the person of Jesus Christ.
