God's Commitment to Abraham

The entirety of the Christian life rests on the promises of God. Yet, how may we have confidence that God will do what He says He will do? Must we do something to secure God’s blessing? In this lesson, Dr. Sproul draws our attention to God’s covenant with Abraham in Genesis 15. Here we see that the entirety of the life of faith depends on God’s covenant relationship with His people. It is not enough merely to believe in God, but we must believe God and wholly rest on His guarantee that He will do just as He has promised.
