Ezra & Nehemiah

After seventy years of exile in a foreign land, the people of God finally returned home. Ezra the priest led a group of exiles to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem, and Nehemiah the governor led a group to repair the city walls. Yet both leaders understood that the Israelites required more than brick-and-mortar reconstruction if they were to enjoy the Lord’s blessings. The nation also needed spiritual reformation. In this message, Dr. R.C. Sproul describes the national revival recorded in the books of Ezra and Nehemiah.
