Jeremiah

The prophet Jeremiah was given an unenviable task: to announce the destruction of Jerusalem and the exile of God’s people in Babylon. Even though he deeply grieved over this message of judgment, Jeremiah faithfully proclaimed the Word of God as the nation of Judah collapsed around him. In this message, Dr. Sproul introduces us to the “weeping prophet.” But Jeremiah did not only pronounce doom and gloom. The prophet revealed that God would raise His people from the ashes and send His promised Redeemer to establish a new covenant with them.
