Christ’s Church
Christ promised, “I will build my church” (Matt. 16:18). From that little phrase “my church,” it is clear that the church belongs to Jesus. It is Christ’s church, and when we are brought into Christ, we are also brought into it. In this lesson, Dr. Ferguson introduces the doctrine of the church by defining who it belongs to, how it is built, and the forces that oppose it but will never triumph over it.
