Prison Epistles

In his service to Jesus Christ, the Apostle Paul suffered many perils and was arrested numerous times. Knowing this, we might be surprised by the optimistic character of the letters Paul wrote from prison. Even when he was in chains for the gospel, the Apostle never lost his confidence in the supremacy of Christ, to whom all the world is subject and whose eternal plan for His people must be gloriously fulfilled. In this message, Dr. R.C. Sproul considers the edifying theology and wisdom for the Christian life found in Paul’s letters to the Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and to Philemon.
