Bezalel, Spirit-Filled Artisan

Martin Luther and the Reformation reclaimed the concept of vocation. Priestly service was not the only vocation glorifying to God, but all of life is worship. This concept, however, was not an invention of the Reformation-it is deeply biblical. Bezalel was a man filled with the Spirit, and he was given numerous gifts to beautify the tabernacle (Ex. 31; 35). In this lesson, Dr. Thomas explores God's calling for Bezalel to describe the importance of vocation and beauty in the Christian life.
